Description

The 1976 film ‘The Eagle has Landed’ featuring a host of Hollywood stars, the film focuses on a disparate group of German Fallshirmjager, led by Kurt Steiner, who are parachuted into England in an attempt to assassinate Winston Churchill.
The plot fails when the Germans are discovered after one of their members dies trying to rescue a drowning local girl.
One of the early scenes in the film focusses on a WW2 railway station, where the FJ’s are in a standoff with SS guards who are intent on shipping Jews to the death camps. One of the women prisoners attempts to escape and falls into Steiner’s arms, Steiner confronts the SS officer in charge about his treatment of civilians. He strikes the officer, knocking him to the ground and aids the woman in an attempt to flee, but she is shot by the SS and killed.
Our first 6 figures feature the FJ’s and the woman prisoner, in this opening scene from the film and the unconscious German SS officer. All figures are available separately, so you can buy those you like and include them in other dioramas should you so wish. Hopefully you will like them all!
