“Honneur et Fidélité” (Honor and Fidelity). The French Foreign Legion is a unique military corps of the French Army, established in 1831 to allow foreign nationals to serve in the French military. It is renowned for its elite status and has a long history of service in French military campaigns around the world.

The Thomas Gunn recent French Foreign Legion releases have been extremely popular and we have sold out of many and we have limited numbers left of the other releases. Therefore, this month we have reinforcements and we listened and as many collectors asked for a Flag Bearer, we answered that call, along with a light MG and 2 x Grenadiers. Keep your eyes peeled for further releases in this range, including a further flag bearer with the Green and Red flag of the Legion and drummer.

In this recent batch we have remade 2 of our previous sold out Legionnaires, but have added backpacks, medals to the chest of some, weathered their kepis and rolled up the trousers on others. The ‘Old Sweat’ has the addition of a rather chic looking scarf and cigarette to give him that look of someone who has see it all before and is not phased by anything that lies ahead.
All Legionnaires are $55/£50 per figure.
