Description

The Israeli aircraft industries ‘Nesher’ is the Israeli version of the French Dassault Mirage 5 fighter.  The Nesher’s air frame was identical to the Mirage but instead used Israeli electronics, a Martin Baker ejection system and Israeli manufactured Sharfir heat seeking air to air missiles. A total of 51 fighters were manufactured and when retired by Israel were sold to Argentina during the 1970’s. Argentina used them under the name ‘Dagger’ where they participated in the ‘Beagle conflict with Chile and the Falkland Islands war with Great Britain.

Our 1/32 scale hand carved mahogany model is one flown by Brigadier General Giora Epstein an Israeli ace credited with 17 victories making Epstein the ace of aces of supersonic jets.  This is a limited edition model of 5 pieces worldwide and is priced at $799 plus $100 postage (there is no free postage on Warbirds), this is reflected in the website price at checkout.
